Ben Granoff
Artists on Art

Friday January 13, 2012 @ 6:15 PM

Ben Granoff attended New York University where he was a Marvel Comics intern and racked up animation credits on Saturday Night Live and Adult Swim. His storyboard clients include Universal Pictures, SoBe and Columbia University. Ben has worked on various independent comics as an artist, writer, letterer, and editor. He writes about comics for venues like GraphicNYC.com and the forthcoming Drawn Word and teaches comics classes to students in grades 3-8. His books include Clint and Rosebud: Those Freewheeling Tramps, We Were…The Freedom Federation and Dingleberry Blues.

Artists on Art: Contemporary artists lead informal, topical talks within the museum’s galleries on select Friday nights at 6:15 p.m.

In conversation with Assistant Curator Beth Citron, speakers from New York and international contemporary art scenes interact with and informally discuss the rich artistic traditions of the Himalayas and surrounding regions in relation to their own practices and processes.

Please meet at the base of the Spiral Staircase at 6:15 for all tours.

Admission to the museum's galleries is free every Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
