Bios

Marina Abramovic is a New York-based Serbian performance artist.  Active for over three decades, she has recently begun to describe herself as the “grandmother of performance art." With an often pronounced mystical sensibility, Abramovic's work questions the performer/audience relationship and explores the limits of the body.  Through gesture and ritual she examines the nature of consciousness.

Lee Robbins, Ph.D is a Jungian analyst in New York City and vice president of the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association where she is on the teaching faculty. Dr. Robbins is an adjunct professor of Psychology and Religion at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she teaches interdisciplinary seminars on Jung and the Postmodern, Alchemy, Buddhism and the History of the Unconscious.
