Reduced Admission Fee
The Rubin Museum of Art offers a discounted college student admission fee of $5 with college I.D., and offers free admission to everyone every Friday night from 6:00-10:00 p.m. For the 2011- 2012 academic year (July 1 – June 30) students from Baruch College, BMCC, Hunter College, John Jay College, The New School, Hunter College, Queens College, and QCC have free museum admission with student id.

Internships and Training
If you would like to gain valuable experience working in a museum environment, consider applying for an internship at the Rubin Museum of Art. Internships focus on a variety of departments and disciplines, family programs, administration in museum environments, museum education in schools, and opportunities for multimedia and exhibition work. Internships at the Rubin Museum of Art may be used to fulfill academic requirements on arrangement with the individual college or university. For only $45 you will receive unlimited free admission for one and a complimentary audio guide; invitations to select previews, members-only exhibition tours, and other events; a 10% discount on purchases at the Shop @ RMA and Cafe @ RMA; discounts on lectures, performances, films, and family programs; and advance notice of select museum events.
