Torana Club: Young Friends of RMA
Torana is a Sanskrit term meaning "gateway." The Torana Club is a group of young (under 40) friends of the museum who are dedicated to supporting and promoting RMA through artistic, development, cultural, and social activities. Members of this group share a quest to enhance their understanding and knowledge of the art and culture of the Himalayas and to promote the museum by networking with current and prospective patrons to develop and strengthen interest and awareness in the museum’s mission while providing important fundraising, outreach, membership and education campaigns integral to the success of RMA.
