Spiral Lobby

The Spiral Lobby is adjacent to the primary entrance to the museum and features a dramatic staircase designed by Andrée Putman. Adorned with a copper “cloud wall” designed by Milton Glaser and a sleek French limestone floor, the spiral is used either alone or in tandem with the colonnade and theater.

Total area: 1,150 square feet
Capacity: 100 for a reception

Colonnade

The Colonnade is a spectacular arcaded venue with rows of stunning columns.

Total area: 3,850 square feet
Capacity: 220 for dinner or 400 for a reception

Theater

The theater at RMA is ideal for business presentations, films, lectures, readings, and small performance events. The venue is equipped with comfortable removable seating for custom set-up and features a stage, fully equipped AV booth, green room, optional podium, and projection screen.

Capacity: 137 as theater style, or 100 as cabaret style. The theater can also be used for private receptions (80) and small dinner receptions (60).
