To trace the spread of Buddhism along these trajectories, we have invited leading scholars and lecturers to discuss the material and cultural exchange that took place on the continent beginning in 600 BCE. The Story of Buddhism (June 12 - August 28) This series of films by Benoy K. Behl is the first that depicts all of the ancient Buddhist sites of India as well as other Asian countries. The story of the Buddha and of the development of Buddhism is traced through the art and architecture of over one hundred major monuments.
